Welcome to another Fonts We Love Friday!
This is a post we do monthly (one of my favorites!) where we share some of our favorite fonts with you. It’s a great way to build up your font collection. Personally, I am always on the hunt for a great font or two, so I always have a few to share! I wanted to do something a little different for today’s post and since it is a rather dreary fall day in my neck of the woods, I decided to make a compilation of my favorite fall-inspired fonts.
Fall-Inspired Fonts
Free Fall-Inspired Fonts and Where to Find Them
Janda Apple Cobbler – This font comes in a couple different ways, including a solid version for those of you who are against the scribbled look.
KG Fall For You – I am a huge fan of handwritten fonts…I love this one and have used it frequently for journaling.
Homegirl Harvest – This was a new find for me today. I’m digging the different heights of all the letters and the combo of capitals and lower case.
KB A Stitch in Time – This font reminds me of a nice warm sweater…just what I need to get through this chilly evening!
KB Gobble Day – Thanksgiving will be here before we know it. The roundness of this font reminds me a lot of the saying “Gobble till you wobble”!
KG Falling Slowly – I love the loopy letters. They are very reminiscent of falling leaves.
A Day In Autumn – This is another new find for me. The wispiness of the letters would go perfectly with any fall layout.
LD Falling Leaves – I’m never one for using fonts with “extras” like these leaves, but I think this font does it perfectly. This would make an excellent font for a page title, maybe even with the negative space filled in with some papers.
Autumn – This is a great journaling font. I love that it looks like a typewriter and that it comes only in caps.
KB Witching Hour – Before Thanksgiving comes Halloween and this font is a great one for all those upcoming Trick or Treat layouts!
Go Forth and Scrap!
There you have it, Trixie Scraps fans! These are just a few of the fonts I found while I was digging around on the free font sites. We’d love to see how you use any of these fonts. Scrap a page, hang on to it and make sure to upload it when we get our gallery back up and running later this season.
