As Good As It Gets
I feel like this phrase gets thrown around a lot with a negative connotation. Like, you tried to make some super cool-looking craft you saw on Pinterest, and the end result is barely recognizable and it’s “as good as it gets.” There are enough sad and negative things going on in the world, I want to celebrate this phrase as it is meant to be used. As in, it’s not possible to have a better outcome, because this outcome is AWESOME!!! For instance, watching a beautiful sunrise, snuggling up on the couch listening to your 1st grader read to you, the pride you feel as you cross the finish line of your first 5k, getting the call that you’ve been offered the job of your dreams….
