It’s been a few months since I’ve been able to do a Fonts We Love Friday post for you, so I was excited to get the opportunity today. I didn’t know what font I was going to go with when I started my layout, but after I completed my layout and did a quick search – I had my answer.

Shake It Off

So the whole Shake It Off phrase has probably gotten old for most of us, but it’s a great saying and after picking up my Kindergartner in the cold, I figured we could all Shake Winter Off in some way. If you haven’t guessed it already the font we’re showing off today is called KG Shake It Off.

Why I’m Shaking It Off

My layout is all about my cute little 5 year old. Back in the Fall we opted to take the kids to a studio for Fall pictures instead of paying the company the school hired. It ended up being a great decision and we got some wonderful pictures. My little girl did not want to go to the studio when we said that’s where we were headed, but when we actually got to the studio she was singing a different tune.

Because my layout was all about my little girl and it’s very much a feminine layout, I wanted a font that looked handwritten, but it also needed to be a bit fun. I found that with KG Shake It Off. Shake It Off comes with a few different versions of itself, so I actually used two in my layout. For my title I used the ‘chunky’ font and for my journaling I used the regular font.

For my layout I used the kit Crisp Autumn Days along with a template from the template pack Large And In Charge Vol. 5.
