Hi all, Shauna here and today I’m here for the recipe challenge with ingredients for a new page. If you are anything like me, you like a challenge every now and then to help you create something new. I love recipe challenges because they are easy to follow, but I like a little flexibility too. So I’m going to give you a general recipe and you can tweak it to your liking.

February 2016 Recipe Challenge

5-7 Papers

5-8 Flowers

5-8 Leaves/greenery

3-4 Ribbons

3-5 Buttons or other elements

Title using at least one alpha

Now simply lay them out on your page in a pleasing manner (doesn’t that sound so recipe like…hehehe) and then journal, date and don’t forget your shadows.

I made a layout using Trixie’s kit called Ewe Loves Ya?, and I have to say it is a very fun kit. The colors are some of my favorites and I know I will be using this kit a lot! The layout I did features a friends daughter. She was just waiting for us to take some family photos and I could not resist snapping just a few of her alone.

Here is a look at the entire kit. My layout didn’t use the super cute sheep, but I love them!! The one with the little pink bow makes me smile every time I see it.
