It’s another Challenge Thursday, and this week it’s time for another photo related challenge!
How often do you look through your hard drive and find a photo(s) you want to use but there are just too many colors in it that don’t go together or the colors clash with the kit you want to use?
This week I’m going to challenge you to a….
Black and White Photo Challenge!
It’s pretty easy in most scrapbooking programs (or photo editing apps on smartphones) to convert a photo to black and white. Now you have the same photo, with the same smiling faces, action, scenery or whatever you originally captured, but without the colors that were distracting you.
My original photo not only had a lot of different colors going on, but most of them did NOT go with the kit I wanted to use:
Here’s an example of page I made for this black and white photo challenge. It was made with the Trixie Scraps and Connie Prince collaboration My Sister, My Friend Kit . With my photo in black and white, I think it is a much better, less chaotic image.
Now it’s your turn! If you’d like to take on our black and white photo challenge, we’d love to see your results! Show us your pages and link us up to your gallery posts in the comments section so we can leave you some love. Have fun!
