Hello there, Trixie Scraps fans! Welcome back to the blog and to another Challenge Thursday! Sometimes I find myself in a scrapping rut with either too many photos waiting to be scrapped or struggling to find just the right idea for a new kit. It’s challenges like these that make me think out of the box and shake the scrappers’ block. This week, I am bringing you May’s installment of the monthly photo challenge. Here we go!
Easy Like Sunday Morning
For me, weekends are a great time to take pictures. While our weekends are typically busy with dance class for the littlest one and soccer for the boy child, they are considerably more low-key than our regular, work week rush. On Saturdays and Sundays, we are usually together for the majority of the time. It’s that quality time with my family that recharges my batteries and gets me ready to face the stress of the coming week. Granted, we may be running from place to place or dealing with uncooperative sisters as they “watch” their brother’s soccer game, but we’re doing it together and that’s what counts.
A Photo Challenge
So my challenge for you this week is this: What does your typical weekend look like? Document your weekend in as many or as little photos as you’d like and scrap a page about it.
Here is the layout I have completed for this challenge. I used a template from Trixie’s iNSD template grab bag (In the Pocket vol. 2 to be more specific) and the Capture Moments grab bag.
