Happy Wednesday, Trixie Scraps fans! Jennifer here, and I’m ready to share a little Wednesday Wisdom with you.

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone. -Neale Donald Walsch
I think it’s probably safe to say that most of us don’t actively seek ways to push ourselves outside of our comfort zone. We like our routines. We like feeling safe. Secure. COMFORTABLE. I’m not here to tell you there’s anything wrong with that. And I’m as guilty as anyone of being pretty content residing in my comfort zone. However, when we do push ourselves, maybe just a little bit, maybe a lot, fantastic things can happen.
Maybe it’s pushing yourself physically by adding a walk around the block a few nights a week or signing up for a 5k. There’s safety (maybe even comfort?) in numbers so recruit a friend for your workouts to help keep you accountable in your new adventure. Maybe it’s pushing yourself socially by joining a book club at the library or running for President of the PTO. Maybe you’ve been considering sharing a skill or talent you have with others? Consider joining the church choir, offer to coach the Little League team, or volunteer to help with crafts at a nursing home. Maybe it’s deciding to go on one more first date. Maybe it’s applying for a promotion or a new job altogether. Whether you start with baby steps or take a giant leap, the rewards of stepping out of your comfort zone could be fantastic! You just have to take that first step!
For my page about the rewards I’ve been discovering this year by stepping out of my comfort zone, I used the Trixie Scraps American Heroes templates and the Best Year Ever kit.
