Hello all, today I am here to give you a recipe for love…ok maybe not. But I am here to give you this month’s recipe challenge which I hope will result in a page that you love, so that is close, right? Now before I start, I am a firm believer that sometimes you have to adapt a recipe to fit your needs, so if you find something in mine that you don’t want or if you want to add something mine doesn’t have, that is ok. The idea is to help jump start you on creating a layout, it is not meant to force you to match something I’ve done. So let’s get started.
Recipe
- 1 multi photo frame (at least 2 photos, but can be more)
- Photos to put into the frame
- 3 papers
- 2 ribbons/strings
- 20+ elements
- Title/journaling/date
So now you have your recipe, it is time to create a page. I used the recipe and Trixie’s kit A Life That’s Good Value Bundle to create a layout about my nephew and new niece-in-law’s wedding reception. I love this bundle, it is in my top 5 bundles I use over and over. But I picked it for this layout because of the colors and the flowers. I love clustering with flowers and greenery, and Trixie’s kits are perfect for that.
Now if you’re not familiar with A Life That’s Good Value Bundle, let me show you a picture of it. It is packed with all kinds of goodies, and the colors work for so many different things. The touches of black and grey really highlight the other colors. And of course it has lots of pretty flowers in it.
It is now time for you to create a layout with the recipe and we would all love to see what you create. Post them at Trixie’s Gingerscrap Gallery and leave a link in the comments section.
