It’s Wednesday again, Trixie fans! It’s also a Wisdom Wednesday, one of my favorites!

What’s With The Hair?

Sometimes, I think we take our scrapbooking too seriously. We tend to avoid using imperfect pictures and we want our layouts to be perfect. We also like to put our best face forward and make sure our layouts show the best about our lives. I think it’s important to share our lives as we really live them. If you’re the type of person who is a perfectionist in all aspects of your life – then by all means, scrap that way.

I am NOT a perfectionist and I tend to have a sense of humor about most things. My life is chaotic most of the time and the pictures I like best are ones that aren’t so posed.

The picture I wanted to use today is one such example and it’s all about hair.

My youngest daughter was born with a head full of hair and I tried not to get too attached to it. Because she was baby #5, I knew the hair wouldn’t stay around. She surprised me though and she never really lost that baby hair. It just got fuller and fuller. By the time she was about a year old she woke up with some interesting hair styles. So while I was looking for a funny quote to use, I found the perfect one:

I don’t need a hair stylist. My pillow gives me a new hairstyle every morning.

I loved that it had to do with hair and that it was humorous. It also worked well with the photo I wanted to use.
