Happy Thursday, Everyone!!! We are almost through the week… Yay!!! So, I am here today with a new Challenge Thursday. This week I have decided to give you a theme. So, what do I want you to scrap about… your traditions. I would love to see what it is you do that is special to you and/or your family!

Challenge Thursday Example Layout

For my tradition layout, I scrapped a photo from my daughter’s birthday. For this tradition, we make it a point to have the birthday person blow out candles on a stacked donut “cake” on their actual birth day. We did this for fun one year and it has become our little family tradition. My kids want this more than anything else; it has become something very special to them and it is so simple.

I used Trixie Scraps’ kit, It’s Her Birthday for my layout. I love all the different birthday type elements as well as the bright and subtle colors used to create the kit. It is a fun kit that can also be used for more girly type pages because many of the elements and papers are not birthday themed. If you don’t have this one in your digital-stash, you might want to pick it up.
