Hi all, today I’m here with a fun recipe…well, I had fun making my layout and I hope you have fun making one too. My recipe is easy to follow, and if you need to add or subtract something that is ok – make it work for you. Just remember to have some fun with your page. So let’s get going.
Recipe
1 Photo – framed or matted
5 Papers
5-10 Flowers and/or Greenery
5-10 Elements (stars, ribbons, hearts, buttons, etc.)
Title
Add a date and journal if you so choose, and don’t forget your shadows.
I used the recipe to create this layout of my dog, Hollywood. He is a wild and crazy dog, but I love him. I have friends that say my dogs are lucky because I spoil them rotten, but I say I’m lucky because they give me unconditional love. When my nephew brought him home, I wasn’t sure how I would do with a big dog, but even though he is 65+ pounds he thinks he is a lap dog. I do feel very lucky that he’s my “baby”.
The kit I used is called Lucky Boy and the coordinating Lucky Boy Bonus Papers. It is a great kit because although the kit is geared towards boys, there is enough yellows and oranges it can be used for so much more. I readily admit I am a sucker for plaid papers, and the bonus papers are awesome in this one. It was the perfect kit for my fun recipe.
Now it is time for you to get started and create a layout with this recipe. I love seeing what you create, so post you layout in the Trixie Scraps’ Gingerscrap Gallery and leave a link to it in the comments section.
