Saturday With The Stars: It's His Birthday

It’s another Saturday here at the Trixie blog. We know that all means it’s time for another Saturday With The Stars.

My little guy just turned 6 last week and so with birthday on my mind I thought we’d take a look at It’s His Birthday today.

MK gets us started off with photos of a sweet new baby. I love the blocked design of all the photos and the fun scallops that make the border for the scrapped area. I like the way the accordion flowers look on this layout and the many different papers MK was able to get on this one layout.

Shauna’s layout is next. I love the fun of this layout. I love that she used a black and white photo and the way it looks on this layout. She has awesome shadowing on this page that gives it a realistic feel. I really like how well the alpha fits in with the theme of her layout.

Jennifer chose perfect photos to go along with this kit. I love that not only is her sons shirt color a match to the kit, but she is wearing the same color as well. I love all the blocked paper squares and the photos on top. I also like that she kept her journaling tag off to the side where very little was going on.

Helen takes us out today with an awesome layout of her little girl. Yes, her little girl! I love that she was able to use this kit in a non-traditional way. I love all the bright colors in this layout and all the paper choices Helen made.
