Take $2 Tuesday November 5, 2013 {After 10 Years and Black Tie Event}

TaDAAAA! It’s Tuesday again, my favourite day of the week because I get to bring you the fantabulous weekly specials otherwise known as Take $2 Tuesday. This week we’re featuring two very special kits, ones that are eminently suited to scrapping special occasions… After 10 Years and Black Tie Event.

When it comes to showing you some inspirational layouts to jumpstart your own creativity, this combo made it REALLY hard… there’s just so many simply superb layouts using both kits. There’s something about After 10 Years that seems to demand circles – like the ones in this layout by Jennifer:

And this one, from Stacy:

My layout isn’t quite so heavy on the circles, thanks to one of Trixie’s templates!

And then there’s the luscious palette of Black Tie Event. That deep raspberry was so popular with the Stars, as Kassie’s special layout shows:

And again with Bethie’s where it provides a smashing punch of colour:

But there’s always one in every crowd who follows her own path. Mary Kate’s layout only has a hint of it, where it’s just the right touch in an otherwise monochromatic layout.
