I really don’t like running public CT calls!
There, I said it! I know it’s a great way to find new scrapbookers to add to my Creative Team, but as I said here, I like to keep a small, close-knit team. Whenever I do an advertised CT call, I get inundated with applications and there is just no feasible way I can accept a fair percentage of the people who apply. The team would end up being huge and the bigger it gets, the more disconnected we seem to become. I find it especially difficult to write rejection letters and turn people away. I never want to hurt anyone’s feelings, but when I run a public CT call, that is almost unavoidable! So, I’ve worked out a system that really works well for us, as a team.

You have an open invitation to apply for our Guest Creative Team right here on TrixieScraps.com! We love meeting new scrapbookers (either new to scrapbooking or just new to us) and we use these guest positions to get to know you better and assess whether you’d be a good fit for the permanent team. Our guest Creative Team position is for a period of three calendar months. During that time, you have access to our private Facebook group and access to free product to work with. We do our best to get to know you, and help you get to know us – and, at the end of the three months, if you are a good fit for our team (and we have room for a new team member), we invite you to stay with us permanently.

You need not have a ton of experience as a digital scrapbooker, and you don’t have to worry about your connections or being part of any perceived “clique” in digiland. We are open and accepting of everyone and the excitement of a guest on our team is fun for us!
